4S 5 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Rega that the <br /> City of Pleasautou commend Mrs. Sharon McKinnon for her outstanding community <br /> achievements. <br /> The roll call_..v~te was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, and Vice-Mayor Spiliotopou~os <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilman Reid and Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos <br /> <br /> Councilman Rega called attention to the fact that the Jayceest Maid of <br /> Pleasanton contest was going to be held at Castlewood on June I6, 1969, which will <br /> conflict with the City Council meeting. Mr. Fales stated that items scheduled <br /> for the City Council meeting can be held over to the following meeting. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Rega and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the <br /> City Council meeting of June 16, 1969, be cancelled and that the City Councilmen <br /> be encouraged to attend the Jaycees' Maid of Pleasantou Contest to be held at <br /> Castlewood. <br /> The roll call vote was as follo_w~: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, and Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos <br /> NOES: None <br />~ ABSENT: Councilman Reid and Mayor Gerton <br /> <br />OO Councilman Rega requested that the staff report on the proposed ordinance <br />~_) regarding the regulation of the speed of trains passing through Pleasanton. Mr. <br />~,~ Fales stated that this matter will be ready to be discussed in two weeks. <br /> <br /> Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos asked Mr. Campbell what the final traffic pattern <br /> on Division Street between Main Street and Railroad Avenue would be. Mr. Campbell <br /> replied that after the completion of the Fire Station a study would be made on <br /> this matter. <br /> <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one addressed the Chair. <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Appointments to City Planning Commission <br /> Pending Litigation <br /> Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos cancelled the Executive Session because of the <br /> absence of two Council members. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 9:35 P.M., it was moved by Councilman Rega <br /> and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the meeting be adjourned to meet again <br /> in Adjourned Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on June 2, 1969. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, and Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilman Reid and Mayor Getton <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> BERNARD T.
