Woodhead, 1785 Harvest Road, Pleasanton, Re: Traffic <br />Control at the intersection of Black Avenue and Harvest Road <br />Mr. Fales requested that this matter be referred to his staff for a report. <br /> <br />From Residents of the Harris Acres Area Re: Lack of Water Pressure in Harris Acres <br />Mr. Fales requested that this matter ~ be referred to his staff for study <br />and subsequent report to the Council. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br />There were no matters initiated by Council members. <br /> <br />[lEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br />'~isses Belinda Barlow, Hillarie Hudson and Jean Haynes. representing People <br />Limited, advised the Council that their organization was planning to clean the <br />Arroyo del Valle Creek, in the vicinity of Main Street, on October 18, 1969. They <br />advised the Council of the garbage and debris that has collected there and asked <br />the City for some help in this project. <br />Mr. Fales advised that if they will come to his office to discuss this, he <br />will make some arrangements for garbage pick-up. <br />The Council thanked the girls for their concern and willingness to help. <br /> <br />Mrs. Birdie Meier asked if the Council had done anything about a Bus Stop <br />Shelter for the Greyhound busses. <br />Mr. Campbell advised her that a portable shelter will be placed at Neal and <br />First Streets until Rose Avenue construction is completed, at which time it will <br />be moved to a Rose Avenue location. <br />Councilman Beratlis offered, in response to Mrs. Meier's concern regarding <br />where a bus time-schedule could be located, to allow this schedule to be placed <br />in the window of his business office on Main Street. <br /> <br />EXECUT)VE SESSION-CONSIDERATION OF APPOINTMENTS <br />The Executive Session was cancelled because of the absence of Councilman Rega <br />and Mayor Gerton. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />.-- There being no further business at 10:20 P.M.. it was moved by Councilman <br />Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Reid that the meeting be adjourned to meet <br />ag~in in Adjourned Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on October 20, 1969. <br />"h.e roll call vote was as follows: <br />nYES: Councilman Bet!atlis, Reid and Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Rega and Mayor Gerton <br /> <br />4. <br />
