<br />1S~3 <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />of <br />THE MEETING <br />of <br />THE CITY COUNCIL <br />Pleasanton, California <br />September 8, 1969 <br /> <br />fALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FlAG <br />Vice-Mayor George Spiliotopoulos called the Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br />City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid and Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos were present. Mayor <br />Gerton was absent. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. <br />Hirst. City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, and Mr. Castro, <br />Director of Planning, were present. <br /> <br />~ <br />..... <br />00 <br />'-:> <br />U <br />U <br /> <br />AGENDl\ AMENDMENl'S <br />Councilman Reid requested that item g on the Consent Calendar be removed and <br />discussed as a separate item. <br /> <br />CONSE1IT CALENDAR <br />It was moved by Councilman Rega and seconded by Councilman Reid that the fol- <br />lowing items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br />a. Waiving the reading of Ordinance No. 571, amending Ordinance No. 376, dealing <br />with Franchises to and Regulation of Community Antenna Television Systems in <br />the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 571. <br /> <br />c. Waiving the reading of Ordinance No. 570. relating to the operation of bicycles <br />within the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 570. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-213, setting the public hearing date of September <br />22, 1969. on Annexation No. 60, Dandini Property, ~tanley Boulevard. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-212, authorizing Progress Payment No.2. mn the <br />amount of $23,431.57, be paid to Gil Construction Company for work completed <br />at the Santa Rita Road Pumping Station. <br /> <br />h. Approval of the Minutes of the City Council Meetings of August 4th, 11th. 18th, <br />25th, and 26th. 1969. <br /> <br />i. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-215, approving the Final Subdivision Map and Im- <br />provement Plans for Tract No. 3092. Arroyo del Prado, Unit No.6. <br /> <br />j. Setting the Public Hearing date on September 22, 1969. on the application of the <br />Planning Commission to rezone from R-1-6500, Single Family Residence District <br />to the 0, Office District, that property commonly known as 1056 Division Street. <br /> <br />k. Setting the Public Hearing date on September 22, 1969, on the application of the <br />Planning Commission for a General plan amendment to classify from the A, Agri- <br />cultural designation to the Medium Density Residential designation that property <br />described as Parcel I. Assessor's Map Book No. 946, Block 1250, containing 94.47 <br />acres, more or less, located on the east side of Santa Rita Road immediately <br />north of the Kaiser Sand and Gravel private road. <br /> <br />1.
