Miller, Congressman from the 8Eh Congressional District, dated April 21, 1970, responding to our complaint about the proposed increase in first class mail. Mr. Fales stated that he has also forwarded a copy of a letter from Mayor Richard Clark, dated April 23, 1970, regarding his resignation from the LAFC. Mr. Fales also stated that a toby of A.B. 1271 and a memo from the City Attorney has been forwarde~ to the Cc~ncil for their information and study. Munce~ Area Manager, Macco cgr~..~_Re: Setting of Annexation Public Hearing Mr. Fales stated that Mr. Muncey has requested that the Council set the public hearing date on this annexation for July 6, 1970. Mr. Fales stated this matter will be discussed at the meeting of May 18, 1970. From City of San Leandro Re: Abatement of Noise from Jet Aircraft Mr. Fales was asked to acknowledge and file this communication. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL EMBERS Mayor Reid asked for a report on the original application now in the process oF construction on Foothill Road which was approved in 1963.
