CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-166 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE JUNE BOND ISSUE, <br /> PROPOSAL FOR DEVELOPMENT OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR <br /> LOW INCOME SENIORS, MEASURE C <br /> <br />WHEREAS, passage of the Alameda County Development of <br /> Affordable Housing for Low Income Seniors bond <br /> issue, Measure C, on the June 7, 1988 ballot will <br /> allow 1,700 units of affordable housing for very <br /> low income seniors to be developed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, each city in Alameda County will be allocated 50 <br /> units with additional units available based on <br /> need; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the general obligation bond issue will be for <br /> approximately $142.7 million; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 2, 1988, the Human Services <br /> Commission recommended support for the June 1988 <br /> Alameda County Affordable Housing for Low Income <br /> Seniors bond issue; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br /> supports passage of the Alameda County Development <br /> of Affordable Housing for Low Income Seniors bond <br /> issue, Measure C, on the June 7, 1988 ballot. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
