MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL December 21, 1970 -_CALL TO ORDER Mayor Robert Reid called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Gerton, Pearson and Mayor Reid were present. Councilmen Beratlis and Spiliotopoulos were absent. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, and Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, were present. Mr.'Campbell, Director of Public Works, and Mr. Aiello, Acting Director of Planning, were absent. ~ AGENDA AMENDMENTS ~ Mr. Fales requested that approval of a 37 day time extension for O.C.Jones and Sons be added to the Consent Calendar. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Gerton that the follow- ing items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: a. Approval of the City Council Minutes for the meetings of November 2rid, 16th, and 30th, 1970. b. Approval of the November, 1970, Claim Warrants in the amount of $88,508.79. c-l.Adoption of Resolution No. 70-246, accepting a deed from H. F.
