Mr. Fales, City ,Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant'City <br /> Manager, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works and Mr. Castro, <br /> .Director of Plannina, were present. -'-Ir. Hirst City Attorney was <br /> ~ · , <br /> absent. <br /> <br /> AGENDA ~A~IEND~,[ENTS <br /> <br /> Councilman Pearson requested that Barbara Boyd, Alameda County Librar- <br /> -ian, be. permitted to speak to the Council regarding the library ex- <br /> . pansion problems in Pleasanton. Mayor Reid asked Miss Boyd to pre- <br /> sent her report immediately followsing the adoption of the Consent <br /> Calendar. <br /> <br /> Councilman Pearson also requested that item 'f' on the Consent Cal- <br /> endar be removed as he would like to initiate further discussion <br /> , on this. matter. <br /> <br /> CONSENT .'CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Spi!iotopoulos and seconded by Councilman <br /> Beratlis that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be <br /> .approved. <br /> <br /> a. Approval of the Minutes of the City Council Meetings of <br /> October 5th and 19flu, 1970. <br /> <br /> b. Approval of the October, 1970, Claim Warrants in the amount of <br /> $68,902.08. <br /> <br /> c.- Adoption of Resolution No. 70-226, authorizing Progress Pay- <br /> ment No. 3, in the amou.nt of $1,467.00· be paid to O.C. Jones <br /> and Sons for work completed in ASsessment District No. 1970-1, <br /> -Longview. <br /> <br />d. -Adoption of'Resolution No. 70-227, accepting the Public <br />.... :~ Improvements on the Construction of Valley Avenue Project <br /> No. 70-3. <br /> <br /> - e. 'Setting the Public Hearing for December 7, 1970, on the appli- <br /> .-'caticn of the Planning Com.~.ission to review and/or amend the <br /> General Plan for that area generally encompassing the four <br /> <br /> <br />
