ER - F~.9~ TO Mayor Robert Reid called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Council- men Beratlis, Pearson and Mayor Reid were present. Councilmen Getton and Spilioto- poulos were absent. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, and Mr. Campbell, Director of public Works, were present. Mr. Castro, Director of Planning, was absent. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Fales requested item "f" on the Consent Calendar be deleted because the Final Subdivision Map for Tract No. 3173, Oakhill, Unit No. 2, was not submitted to the Councilmen in time for them to study this map. Mr. Fales also asked that item "a" include a condition that the actual payment be withheld until the contractor complied with certain items which he verbally agreed to do. Councilman Pearson noted an error on page two of the Minutes for June 22nd, regarding Resolution No. 70-140, and asked that the word "denying" be changed to ~'approving". Mayor Reid asked that an Executive Session be added to the agendao CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Pearson that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved as amended: ao Adoption of Resolution No. 70-153, authorizing Progress Payment No. 7, in the amount of $13,625.10, to A. & J. Shooter, Incorporated, for work completed on the Amador Valley Community Park. b. Adoption of Resolution No. 70-154, authorizing Progress Payment No. 8, in the amount of $28,108.65, to Armand and Smith Construction Company for work com- pleted in the Amador Valley Community Park. c. Waiving the reading of Ordinance No. 604, amending Section 8.105.1, Ordinance No. 520, in order to allow a "storage yard for commercial and/or recreational vehicles" as a conditional use in an Industrial Park District. d. Adoption of Ordinance No~ 604. e. Adoption of Resolution No. 70-155, authorizing Progress Payment No. 1, in the amount of $52,O53.12, to Leitze Construction Company for work completed on Fire Station No. 3. f. Deleted. a- Approval of the City Council Minutes for June 1st, 8th, 15th, and 29th, and June 22nd, 1970 as corrected.
