CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88-164 <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING A PORTION OF RED FEATHER COURT AS <br />SURPLUS <br />WHEREAS, the City has a fee interest in a small parcel of land in <br />Parcel E parallel to Red Feather Court and is not needed <br />for future public right-of-way for Red Feather Court; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends the property be declared as surplus and <br />be offered for sale; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Declares the parcel of land described on Exhibit "A" <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br />reference as surplus. <br />Section 2: The City determines that the market value for the <br />fee interest in the property is $2.00 per square foot <br />and $0.50 for land subject to a public service easement. <br />Section 3: The City finds that the most appropriate development <br />pattern for the area is for use as plottage to the <br />adjacent parcel, provided that the owner of the adjacent <br />parcel is willing to pay the fair market value as stated <br />above. <br />Section 4: After payment of the appropriate amounts, the City <br />Manager is authorized to execute all appropriate <br />documents to complete the subject real property transfer <br />to the adjacent property owners. <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
