MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California June 28, 1971 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FLAG Mayor Robert Reid called the Regular Meeting to order at 4:00 P.M. ROLL CALL Councilman Beratlis, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid were present. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, and Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, were present. AGENDA AMENDMENTS There were no amendments to the agenda. STUDY SESSION RE~ BUDGET ~,~D SALARIES Mayor Reid recessed the meeting to a Study Session at 4:03 P.M. Mayor Reid recessed the Study Session at 7:00 P.M. to a dinner hour. Mayor reconvened the Study Session at 8:00. Mayor Reid reconvened ~e Council meeting at 8:05 P.M. It was then moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Spiliotopoulos that Resolution No. 71-128, Fixing wages, salaries and conditions of the P.C.E.A and Firemen employees for 1971-72, be adopted. The roll call vote was.as follows: AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid NOES: None ABSENT: Councilman Gerton It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Spiliotopoulos that Resolution No. 71-129, approving the report of the Assistant City Manager regarding the reclassification of cert- ain-positions~ be adopted. ~e roll call vote was as .follows: AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid NOES:~ None ABSENT: Councilman Gerton ADJOURNMENT There being no further.business at 8:15 P.M., it was moved by Council- man Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Spiliotopoulos that the meet- .ing~e adjournedlto meet again in Regutar.
