179 <br /> <br /> Proposed_~reement Re: Transfer of P.T.C.W.D. Del Valle Water Rights <br /> <br />Mr. Fales revic~,~'ed both the letter from Mr. Paul E. Lanferman, <br />Engineer - Manager, Zone No. 7, dated January 22, 1971 and also <br />~endment No. 1 to the contract between Zone No. 7, P.T.C.W.D. and <br />the City of Pleasanton, <br /> <br />After some discussion it was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and <br />seconded by Councilman Gerton that Resolution No. 71-25, approving <br />the execution of the amendment No. 1 to the Zone No. 7 water <br />purchase contract which provides for the transfer of the P.T.C.W.D. <br />Del Valle %$ater Rights to Zone No. 7 in exchange for an increase <br />in the City's Independent Quota, be adopted. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Counc~/.~'ner~ ~rton, tS~ l. iOtO[~OUlOS and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: Counc:i lman Pc~irson <br />ABSENT :, Counc~ lman Be rat. i~ s <br /> <br />Matters for the Inforrnation of the Council <br /> <br />Mr. Fales stated that the following items have been fonlarded to <br />the Council for their information. <br /> <br /> 1. A draft of the 1971 League of California Cities program for <br /> State legislative action. <br /> <br /> 3. Councilman Gerton stated that he felt it <br />should be mandatory to ~et a population limit in this entire valley. <br />He asked [..It.
