Approval of Mary Amarat and City Lease <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar reviewed the proposed lease between the City and ~ary C. <br />Amaral for additional parking space for City vehicles and CitV <br />employee automobiles and recommended approval. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Gerton and seconded by Councilman Spilio- <br />topoulos that Resolution No. 71-237, authorizing the execution of <br />the lease between the City and Mary C. Amaral for expanded muni- <br />cipal parking facilities at $85.00 per month, be adopted. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, SDiliOtODOUlOS and <br />NOES: None Ma~or Reid <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Review of bids, award of contract for construction of north half <br />of Valley Avenue in the vaCinitY of Hopyard Road, Project 71-7 <br /> <br />Mr. Campbell reported that only one bid had been received and that <br />bid, which was from Oliver de Silva, was higher than the Engineers' <br />Estimate.
