REPORTS OF TtIE CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />Report Re: Kaiser Sewer <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar reviewed the report of the Director of Public ~qorks, dated <br />October 29, 1971, which explained both the domestic and industrial <br />waste disposal operation at Kaiser Center for Technolo~.v. <br /> <br />Discussion initiated by Councilman Beratlis ensued re~arding the City <br />also taking periodic samples of the industrial waste at Kaisers for <br />analysis. <br /> <br />Mr. Campbell suggested that Councilman Beratlis discuss this matter <br />with him. <br /> <br />Application for Teen Dance at the Fairgrounds, November 24, 1971 <br /> <br />Mr. Edgard reviewed this application and the related reports. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman <br />Spiliotopoulos that the application to hold a Valley-wide Teen-Age <br />Dance at the Fairgrounds on November 24, 1971, be approved. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br />NOES: None Mayor Reid <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> <br />Eir. Edgar reported that the attendance reports of the Planning Comm- <br />ission and the Parks and Recreation members has been foF.~arded to the <br />City Council. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTOP~]EY <br /> <br />There were no reports of the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> COMMUN I CAT ION S <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar read a letter from Mr. Chan Henderson, Vice President of <br />the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce requesting that the week of <br />November 15-20th, 1971 be declared "Pleasanton Heritaae Week". <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Council- <br />man Pearson that the week of November 15-20th, 1971 be declared <br />"Pleasanton Heritage Week". <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br /> AYES~.
