Elloitt, resolution recommending the multiple area established <br />during the prezoning. hearing to be reconsidered and be reclassified <br />from RM-4'000 to the R-1-6500 Single Family. <br /> <br /> Mr. Edgar asked that the report of the Planning Commission, listed <br />under Reports of Boards and Commissions, be discussed at this time. <br /> <br />Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar reviewed the report of the Plannin~ Commission, dated <br />October 27, 1971, ~¢hich recommended that the multiple area establish- <br />ed during the pre-zoning hearing be reconsidered and be reclassified <br />from the P~4-4000 to the R-1-~500. <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar emphasized that the development will not be issued building <br />permits until sewers are available to everyone and that a maximum 75 <br />permits per year would be granted over a four-year development pro- <br />gram. He further stated that this development, with the elimination <br />of multiple units, calls for 254 single family homes which is lower <br />that the city's maximum 4.7 dwelling units per acre. <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Boyles urged the City Council not to annex this property <br />until the sewer and school problems were solved. <br /> <br />Messrs. Victor Bailey and Steven Perez both stated their objections <br />to the annexation of this property. <br /> <br />Mr. H.C. Elliott stated that he will ask for permits only when sewage <br />space becomes available. <br /> <br />There being no further remarks from the audience, it was moved by <br />Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that <br />the public hearing be closed. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None ~ <br />ABSNET: Councilman Gerton <br /> <br />Councilman Pearson stated his objections to both pre-zoning this <br />property and to the annexation of it to the Ciyt of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />After considerable discussion, it was moved by Councilman Spiliotop- <br />oulos and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that Resolution No. 71-222, <br />declaring no majority protest in the matter of Annexation No. 62, be <br />adopted. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Gerton <br /> 3 11-1-71 <br /> <br /> <br />
