Grant had been allocated in the amount of
$2,544,000.00 and with the sewer situation as it is, this project
could be in jeopardy. Mr. Bill Ames stated that in order to meet the
requirements of H.U.D. in the next 90 days, they will need a letter
from the City stating that 131 units, over the next couple of years,
can be phased into the sewer plant, that he can file with H.U.D.

Mr. Edgar explained the Restricted Growth Policy and that a total
of 80 units between now and June 30, 1973 would be available, but the
balance, after that period cannot be guarenteed. After some discussion
on this matter~ Mayor Reid instructed the staff to work with the
Pleasanton Greens representatives and tt.U.D. to help solve this problem.

Mr. Paul Anderson, 4074 Moselle Court, referring to the $35,000,000 suit
the City is envolved in, stated that he and other citizens were setting
up pickett lines in from of the sales offices of the builders who had
filed this suit.

Mr. Ron McNicoll, 444 St. Mary Street, asked how the City Council could
reserve capacity of 100,000 gallons per day for industry but yet could
not guarentee anything for Pleasanton Greens. Mr. Edgar rexplained that
no guarentee can be made for two years in advance and reservations for
industry were based on a planning concept.

Mr. Ted Bogardus, 4491 Sandalwood Court, regarding the Youth Sports
Park, asked who was going to delegate the use of these diamonds, the
City of~Pleasanton or the Little League International? Mr. Edgar stated that this matter will be before the
Council very soon.

Mr. Bogardus' further stated that he felt it was unfair to raise his
sewer service charge by 16% without a study on the entire matter and
yet would not raise sewer connection fees at this time.
