MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> <br />Councilman Sptliotopoulos initiated discussion regarding the proposal <br />of Mr. George Oakes to loan the City $27,500 of the $37,500 needed to <br />develop Fairlands Park. The City Council informally approved this <br />offer and directed this matter to the Parks and Recreation Commission <br />for their review. <br /> <br />MEETING O~EN'TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br />No one addressed the Chair. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION - PENDING LITIGATION <br /> <br />Mayor Reid recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 9:05 P.M. <br />Mayor Reid reconvened the meeting at 9:15 P.M. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Gerton <br />that Resolution No. 72-44, Authorizing the City Attorney to file suit <br />for declaratory relief re: V.C.S.D. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br />NOES: None Mayor Reid <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />There being no further business at 9:20 P.M., it was moved by Council <br />man Bertalis and seconded by Councilman Gerton that the meeting be <br />adj'~rned to meet again in Adjourned Regular Session at 8:00 P.M. <br />on April 3, 19721 <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br />NOES: None Mayor Reid <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />HELEN C.
