Coun~ty~Assessor' s <br />Book No. 941, Block 1301, or more co~mmon!y known, as~ the San Ramon <br />Village Company indus"~'rial propert~ ~n the south~es't,quad~rant of <br />Interstate'580 and Hop~a~d ~oad. <br /> <br />Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open and asked for.a staff <br />report. <br /> <br />Mr. Castro reviewed his report, dated February 1, 1972-in which he <br />recommended that the property be reclassified from the General Industrial <br />3 acre minimum District to the Planned Unit Development. General <br />industrial 40,000 square foot minimum. d~strict .with. thel.-Eurther <br />understanding that lot sizes and descriptions~ shall .be noted on <br />Tentative Map 3352, labeled Exhitit A. <br /> <br />Mr. Castro displayed maps of the area and elaborated further on the <br />Tentative Map for Tract 3352. <br /> <br />Mr. Hank Jarrow, representing San Ramon Village Company, stated that <br />professional planners have been working for 3 years on this plan. <br /> <br />Mr. Ted Lannin expressed his concern over the traffic hazzard at the <br />off-ramp of 580 in front of Denny's Restaurant at the present time <br />without further congestion that will be caused by the ingress and <br />egress of the subject development. <br /> <br />Discussion regarding signalization in this area and the widening of <br />Hopyear Road ensued. <br /> <br />There being no further remarks from the public, it was moved by <br />Councilman-Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Spitiotopoulos that <br />the public hearing be closed. <br /> <br />The roll .call. vote~was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, .Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Gerton <br /> <br />After some discussion regarding access. on Hopyard Ro;ad, .~i,t'~as moved <br />by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and .seconded by Conncilman Beratlis. that <br />Ordinance No. 649, rezoning from the generalsIndustrial 3 acre <br />minimum District to the General Indnstrial~ 40,0!00 square feet <br />minimum District, tha~~ property described as P.arcel 6, 14-2 and a <br />portion of Parcel 4 .of Alameda County Assesso~r's Book No. 941, Block <br />1301, or more~ commonly known as 'the San Ramon Villagel Company <br />industrial property in the southwest quadrant ~of Interstate.,580 and <br />Hopyard Road, be introduced. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Pearson~ ~Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Gerton <br /> <br /> 2 . 2-7-72 <br /> <br /> <br />
