MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> PleasantOn, California <br /> January 10, 1972 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FLAG <br /> <br />Mayor Reid Called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br />were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. <br />Campbell, Director of Public Works and Mr. Castro, Director of Community <br />Development, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar asked that the matter of the Mayor proclaiming January 16-22 <br />as Junior Chamber of Commerce week be added as item"e"to the Consent <br />Calendar. <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar also asked that item "f" be added to the Consent Calendar, <br />accepting a grant deed and a quit claim deed from Pleasanton Development <br />Company for a drainage easement. <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar further asked that authorization needed to file the application <br />for Urban Extension Funds for Santa Rita Road - Arroyo Mocho Bridge <br />PrOject be added as item "g" to the Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />It.was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Spilio- <br />topoulos that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be <br />approved: <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> -.. <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for the month of DeCember 6th, <br /> 13th, and 20th, 1971. <br /> b. Waiveing of the reading of Ordinance No. 648, Re: Apt~ication of <br /> H. C. Elliott to rezone the RM-4000 multiple area to e R-1-6500 <br /> located within the Diller-Granada property of Tract NO. 3161. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 648 <br /> <br /> d. Setting Public Hearings for February 7th on the appeal of Citizens <br /> Federal Savings and Loan Assn., from an adverse decision of the <br /> Planning Commission in denying approval for a Conditional Use <br /> .. Permit to allow a branch office facility within the Alpha Beta <br /> Shopping Center, a C-N District. <br /> <br /> e.. Proclaiming the week of January 16-22 as Junior Chamber of <br /> Commerce week. <br /> <br /> f. Adoption of Resolution No. 72.5, accepting a grant deed and a <br /> Quit Claim Deed from Pleasanton. DevelopmentI Company for the <br /> relocation of a drainage easement and implimentation thereof. <br /> <br /> <br />
