I,fINUTE S <br /> of <br /> T}IE MEETING <br /> of <br /> TItE CITY COUr]CIL <br /> <br /> October 30, 1972 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO TIIE FLAG <br /> Mayor Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to <br />the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded <br />as follows: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Itirst, City Attorney, Mr. <br />Sooby, Director of Engineering Services and Mr. Castro, Director Of <br />Community Development were present. i4r. Campbell, Director of Public <br />Works was absent. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman <br />Kinney that the following item listed on the Consent Calendar, be <br />approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for October 24, 1972. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Discussion of the Environmental Impact Statement and application of the <br />Planning Commission of the C. ity of Pleasanton to amend the existing z~n- <br />ing for that propert~""'bounded on the north by Interstate Highway #580,' <br />on the east by Inter~...tate Iti~hway #680, on the south by Stone..r_idge Drlve <br />and on the west by Foothill Road. Said property ..and proposed amendments~ <br />described more precisely as follows: "~' <br />To the C-R (Commercial Regional) District those. par.c.e!.S. def. ined as follows! <br />Portion of 941-1201-12-3, 941-1201-9, Portion of 941-1201-10, 941-..!201-8,~ <br />941-1201-7, 941-1201-6, Portion of 941-120'1-5, 941-~2b'1-1, Portionof ' <br />941-1201-2, said parcels containing more or less 178.045 acres. <br /> <br />To the P.U.D. Multiple District those parcels defined as follows: <br />~"ortion of 941-1201-12-3, Portion of 941-120'1'10, Portion of 941-1201-5, <br />Portion of 941-1201-2, 941-1201-3, 941-1201-4, 941-1201-11,' sai~ parcels <br />containing more or less 97.645 acres. <br /> <br />Discussion of the Environmental Impact Statement and Appeal of Willow <br />West Properties from an adverse decision of the Planning CommiS'slon <br />regarding CommerCla'l Zoning of the application for Regional Shopping <br />Center. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid presented a timetable and an agenda that would govern <br />the presentations and discussions regarding the two shopping center <br />sites in which equal time was allocated to each proponent. He further <br />stated that with regard to Stoneson residential: <br /> <br />a. No E.I.S. is required now since no project is involved, but Stone- <br /> son should be put on notice' that an E.I.S. :~ill be required at <br /> such time as the tentative development plan is submitted; and <br /> <br /> <br />
