<br />MEETING OPEN TO TwE PUBLIC
<br /> Mr~ Blackwell, 1378 Kolln, reported regarding a construction project at
<br />1385 Kolln Street in which a garage is being enclosed and carport being built.
<br />He further stated the aesthetics are badly matched to the rest of the community
<br />and is an eyesore in the neighborhood=
<br /> Mr! Edgar explained that the improvements are within the requirements of
<br /> the City.
<br /> The City Council instructed Mro Hirst to check into this matter further
<br />and report back at the next Council meeting.

<br />EXECUTIVE SESSION
<br /> Mayor Reid adjourned the meeting to an Executive Session at 10:15 P.Mo
<br />
<br /> Mayor Reid reconvened the meeting at 10:45 P~M~
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Pearson, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that
<br />Resolution No~ 72-135, authorizing the City Attorney to proceed with negotia-
<br />tions with Valley Community Services District regarding the Sewage Treatment
<br />Plant, be adopted.
<br />The roll call vote was as follows:
<br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson, and Mayor Reid
<br />NOES: None
<br />ABSENT: None
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that
<br />Resolution Now 72-136, reappointing David Shepherd to the Community Concerns
<br />Committee for a term expiring August 7, 1975, and appointing Dr~ Guy Co Clark
<br />and Mrs° Anna Martinsen as new members to the Community Concerns Committee for
<br />Terms expiring August 7, 1975, be adopted~

<br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Mayor Reid, that Resolution
<br />No. 72-137, reorganizing the City Clerk~s functions, be adopted.

<br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that
<br />Ordinance Noc. 672, Zoning Unit Noo 124, amending the Zoning Map of the City of
<br />Pleasanton, and an ordinance amending Chapter 2 of Title II of the Ordinance
<br />Code of the City of Pleasanton, rezoning certain property (Singer Housing Com-
<br />pany) from the R-1-6500 (Single family) District to the "S" (Study) District
<br />for a specified period of time, be adopted on an urgency basis.
