MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> June 29, 1973 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Robert Pearson called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 5:00 P.M. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> City Clerk William Edgar called the roll which is recorded as follows: Council- <br />men Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, and Mayor Pearson were present. Councilman Reid was <br />absent. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, and Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, were present. <br />No other staff members were present. <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN JOINT GOVERNMENTAL NEGOTIATION <br />AGENCY AND LOCAL NO. 1974 OF THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIRE FIGHTERS <br /> Mr. Edgar presented the staff report in which the important points of the Memo- <br />randum of Agreement, dated June 27, 1973, between the Joint Governmental Negotiation <br />Agency and Local No. 1974 of the I.A.F.F. were presented. <br /> <br /> After some discussion, it was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman <br />Kinney, that Resolution No. 73-115, approving the Memorandum of Agreement entered into <br />between the Joint Governmental Negotiation Agency and Local No. 1974 of the I.A.F.F., <br />and establishing a salary schedule, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, and Mayor Pearson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Reid <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 5:20 P.M., it was moved by Councilman Mori, <br />and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in <br />Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on July 2, 1973. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, and Mayor Pearson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Reid <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />WILLIAM H.
