<br />COMMUNICAT IONS <br />There were no Communications presented at this meeting, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Mayor Reid reported en the League of California Cities, East Bay Division <br />Dinner on April 13, 1973, regarding Action Programs. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br />There were no matters initiated by Council Members at this meeting. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br />Mrs. Helen Robinson, 1312 Vintner Way, questioned the legality of the City <br />Council's selection of Mayor in Executive Session. Mayor Reid stated that this <br />policy had been followed for many years and was a valid one according to the <br />City Attorney. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Mayor Reid recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 8:45 P.M. <br /> <br />Mayor Reid reconvened the meeting at 9:15 P,M, <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Pearson, that <br />Resolution No. 73-68, authorizing the City Attorney to execute the Stipulation <br />for an amended Judgment in the matter of the Court Case between the City of <br />Pleasanton, V.C,S.D" and the related developers, the purpose of which is to <br />allow the developers to ucilize the available sewer capacity on a pro-rated <br />basis rather than by lottery, be adopted, <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Mori, Pearson, and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Kinney <br /> <br />A ' <br /><IIi,. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Pearson, that <br />Resolution No. 73-69, designating the City Manager as the City's representative <br />in all matters of Employer/Employee Relations, with the authority to meet and <br />confer in good faith on matters within the scope of representation including <br />wages, hours, other terms and conditions of employment, and the City Manager is <br />further authorized to delegate specific duties and responsibilities in these <br />matters when it is deemed appropriate and upon giving notice to the City Council, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Mori, Pearson, and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Kinney <br /> <br />.1 <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business at 9:20 P,M., it was moved by Councilman <br />Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Mori, that the meeting be adjourned to meet <br />again in Adjourned Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on April 23, 1973. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Mori, Pearson, and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Kinney <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />~g~l~~ERK 1/2Jh3 <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />4/16/73 <br />
