Councilman Kinney requested that a preliminary report regarding crosswalks in the City be placed on the next agenda for review. PUBLIC HEARINGS Application of the Planning. Commission re~ardin~ Preliminary P.U.D. Development Plan for Valley Realty (formerly Western Sierra Properties) Valley Avenue and Santa Rite Road Mayor P~o Tem Mori declared the public hearing open. Mr. Harris presented the staff report regarding this matter, stating that follow- ing the approval of any P.U.D. by the Planning Commission, the ordinance calls for all plans and documents to be referred to the City Council for their review and approval. He further stated the Planning Commission approved the Preliminary P.U.D. on June 13, 1973, and requested Council approval of the proposed development. Mr. Jack Bras, 60 Mission Drive, representing the applicant, stated that this is the first step as required by the Zoning Ordinance for a P.U.D. of this type, and that final plans regarding the matter will be presented soon. It was moved by Councilman Reid, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that this item be continued to the meeting of 9-12-73, in order that a full Council will be present. Mr~ Harris presented the staff report regarding this matter, stating that this ordinance amendment came about because of the large number of variance applications which the staff was processing through the Board of Adjustment, regarding patio covers in minimum rear and side yards.
