<br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG
<br /> Mayor Robert Pearson called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at
<br /> 8:00 PoM., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
<br />
<br /> ROLL CALL
<br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br /> Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson were present° Mro Edgar,
<br /> City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mro Campbell, Assistant City Manager/
<br /> Director of Public Works, Mr. Harris, Senior Planner, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engi-
<br /> neering Services, and Mro Walker, Assistant to the City Manager, were present°
<br />
<br /> CONSENT CALENDAR
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that the
<br /> following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved:
<br />
<br />~ a. Approval of City Council Minutes for November 5, 19733
<br /> b. Acceptance of 1972-73 Audit.
<br />
<br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 73-171, approving Progress Payment No. 14, to
<br /> Precomp Tanks, Inco, for work performed on Bonds Reservoir, Project 72-3,
<br /> in the amount of $3,410~33, and acceptance of the project.
<br />
<br /> The roll call vote was as follows:
<br /> ' AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson
<br /> NOES: None
<br /> ABSENT: None

<br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS
<br /> Protest Hearing in connection with Pleasanton Township Count7 Water District~
<br /> Assessment District No. 1~ Alameda C~unty~ California~ Segregation of Assessment
<br /> No. 23
<br /> Mayor Pearson declared the public hearing open°
<br />
<br /> Mr. Walker presented the staff report, stating that the City Council adopted
<br /> Resolution No. 73-145, on August 27, 1973, directing the Director of Public Works
<br /> to prepare and file an amended Assessment, Assessment District No. 1, Pleasanton
<br /> Township County Water District° The action was to begin the process necessary to
<br /> segregate Assessment No. 23 in the Assessment District. All necessary preliminary
<br /> action required for the seRregation of Assessment No~ 23, P.T.CoW.Do Noo 1, has
<br /> been completed, and Mr. Walker recommended that the resolution confirming the
<br /> Amended Assessment be adopted.

<br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor or in opposition to this public hearing.
<br /> The public hearing was then closed~
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Reid, that the
<br /> public hearing be closed.
<br /> The roll call vote was as follows:

<br /> NOES: None
<br /> ABSENT: None

<br /> It was moved by Councilman Reid, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that Reso-
<br /> lution No. 73-172, confirming amended assessment amending Assessment No. 23, Assess-
<br /> ment District No. 1, Pleasanton Township County Water District, Alameda County,
<br /> California, be adopted~
