MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL June 24, 1974 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Pro Tem Edward Kinney called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Herlihy, Philcox, and Mayor Pro Tem Kinney were present. Councilwoman LeClaire and Mayor Mori were absent~ Mr~ Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Assistant City Manager/Director o£ Public Works, Mr. Bowl- ing, Director of Housing and Community Development, Mro Sooby, Director of Engi- neering Services, Mro Miller and Mr~ Walker, Assistants to the City Manager, were present. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Philcox, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: a. Approval of City Council Minutes for June 10, 1974. b. Approval of Holding Tank Agreement with Jack Bras The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Philcox, and Mayor Pro Tem Kinney NOES: None ' ABSENT: Councilwoman LeClaire and Mayor Mori PUBLIC HEARINGS An ordinance extending for a one (1) year period "S" (Study) District on property located in Zoning Maps 133 and 134 (Mission Park and qualified Investors) pursuant to Section 65858 of the Government Code Mayor Pro Tem Kinney declared this public hearing continued open to the meeting of July 8, 1974, at 8:00 P.M., in the Justice Court. Application of the Planning Commission for an amendment to the General Plan of the City of Pleasanton for that area bounded by Stanley Blvd. on the North~ Main Street on the. Ne~.t~ the Arroyo del Valle o~ ~he Sout__h.~ and the City Limits on the East Mayor Pro Tem Kinney declared this public hearing continued open to the meeting of October 14, 1974, at 8:00 P.M., in the Justice Court. MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION Adoption of Ordinance No. 729~ to rezone from the A (Agricultural) to the I-P (Industrial Park) or I-G (General Industrial) District approx. 11.1 acres of land located immediately. east of the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks and approx. 680 feet northwest of the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Mohr Avenue (Patrick Gill) (Introduced 6-10-74 by 4-1 vote) Mr. Edgar stated this ordinance was introduced on June 10, 1974, be a 4-1 vote and that it was now in order to adopt the ordinance° It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that Ordinance Noo 729, to rezone from the A (Agricultural) to the I-P (Industrial Park) District approx~ 11ol acres of land located immediately east of the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks and approx. 680 feet northwest of the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Mohr Avenue (Patrick Gill), be adopted, The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Philcox, and Mayor Pro Tem Kinney NOES: None ABSENT: Councilwoman LeClaire and Mayor Mori
