MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> March 12, 1974 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Robert Pearson called the Adjourned Special Meeting of the City Council <br />to order at 5:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson were present. Mr. Edgar, <br />City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, and Mr. Campbell, Assistant City Manager/ <br />Director of Public Works, were present. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br />Canvass of Ballots and Confirmation of Election Results <br /> Mr. Edgar announced that he had canvassed the ballots and then reported the <br />results of the Election. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Reid, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that Resolu- <br />tion No. 74-31, declaring the following results of the Municipal Election held on <br />March 5, 1974: <br /> <br />Notice of election was duly given, election officers appointed, supplies furnished and <br />all other requirements for general law cities complied with. <br /> <br />Twenty-nine (29) voting precincts were established as follows: 32010; 32011; 32012;~ <br />32013; 32014; 32015; 32016; 32017; 32018; 32020; 32021; 32022; 32030; 32040; 32050; <br />32060; 32070; 32081; 32083; 32084; 32100; 32110; 32120; 32130; 32200; 32210; 32220; <br />32230; 32240; and Absentee. <br /> <br />The total number of votes cast for City Council candidates was 7,287, as follows: <br /> <br />GENE FINCH - Absentee (2); 32010 (24); 32011 (25); 32012 (24); 32013 (31); <br /> 32014 (26); 32015 (29); 32016 (34); 32017 (33); 32018 (18); <br /> 32020 O41); 32021 (22); 32022 (46); 32030 (33); 32040 (24); <br /> 32050 (38); 32060 (41); 32070 (16); 32081 (36); 32083 (24); <br /> 32084 (36); 32100 (99); 32110 (45); 32120 (60); 32130 (35); <br /> 32200 (29); 32210 (17); 32220 (21); 32230 (22); 32240 (14); <br /> TOTAL - 938 <br /> <br />DUDLEY A.
