The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, and Reid <br /> NOES: Mayor Pearson <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Approval of Waste Discharge Requirements and Authorization to sign Waste Discharge <br /> Requirements, Re: ~pperson Development <br /> Mr~ Scheidig presented his report regarding this matter, stating that pursuant <br />to the provisions of an agreement with Mr. William Apperson and the requirements of <br />the Regional Water Quality Control Board, it is necessary for the Council to auth- <br />orize the execution of a report of waste discharge pertaining to the Diamond A Guest <br />Ranch° <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Reid, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, authorizing <br /> the execution of a report of waste discharge pertaining to the Diamond A Guest Ranch. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, and Reid <br />NOES: Mayor Pearson <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Legislation <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report regarding this matter, stating that it will be <br />necessary for the City Council to indicate to this office their position with re- <br />spect to proposed legislation emanating from Sacramento in order that appropriate <br />communications to the legislators can be prepared for the Mayor's signature. <br /> <br /> The City Council took no action on the legislation submitted. <br /> <br />Authorization to Execute Agreement between City and Frank Auf der Maur and Konrad <br />Rickenbach <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report regarding this matter, stating that ~t is <br />necessary for the City Council to authorize execution of this agreement. He further <br />stated that Mr. Auf der Maur and Mr. Rickenbach have purchased certain property <br />along Stanley Boulevard which they intend to develop. The City has reviewed the <br />drainage plans for this area and believes that eventually a common drainage system <br />will have to be established. In order to allow the development of the property to <br />proceed, it was agreed between the parties that the attached agreement allowing <br />for a sheet-flow for drainage onto adjacent property, as has been done previously, <br />and obligating the property owners to participate in a drainage system in the <br />future would be the best way of solving this problem and allowing the development <br />to proceed~ <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Reid, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, authorizing <br />the proper City officials to execute an agreement between the City of Pleasanton <br />and Frank Auf der Maur and Konrad Rickenbach relating to a drainage system on owners <br />property~ <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> There were no City Council Committee Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Councilman Reid requested a status report regarding the Motel property on Santa <br />Rita Road being placed in a Study District. Mr. Sooby stated that negotiations are <br />in the final stages for execution of the documents regarding acquisition of right- <br />of-way regarding this matter, and hopefully will be consummated by the end of the <br />month. <br /> <br /> Councilman Kinney expressed concern regarding the two left turn lanes on Santa <br />Rita Road in front of Amador Shopping Center and Valley Avenue being too close to- <br />gether causing confusion~ <br /> <br /> 7. 1/14/74 <br /> <br /> <br />
