It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire, <br />that Resolution No. 74-240, approving application for holding tank by Arrow <br />Rentals at 4262 Stanley Boulevard, subject to the following conditions: (1) <br />That detailed plans showing the location, construction materials and details <br />as well as other pertinent data concerning this holding tank be submitted to <br />and approved by the Director of Engineering Services prior to installation of <br />the tank; (2) That the property owner enter into a standard Holding Tank <br />Agreement with the City prior to issuance of a building permit for this <br />development. Execution of this agreement by proper City officials should <br />be authorized by approval of this application; and (3) Staff to determine <br />the size of holding tank necessary to service this property, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilman Herlihy, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and <br /> Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Kinney <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> Mr. Edgar presented a memorandum of the Director of Housing and Community <br />Development regarding petition from Stoneridge Area residents bordering Foot- <br />hill Road and solution to the traffic problem. <br /> <br /> Mr. Edgar presented a memorandum of the Assistant City Manager regarding <br />certification of George Oxsen as Treatment Plant Operator. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />Adoption by reference to National Electrical Code and setting January 13~ <br />as date for public hearing on the adoption of said ordinance <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report dated December 4, 1974, regarding this <br />matter, stating that the 1975 Edition of this Code is now available and it is <br />necessary for the City Council to adopt said Code by reference and establish <br />a public hearing regarding the same. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilwoman LeClaire, and seconded by Councilman Philcox, <br />that Ordinance No. 750, to be read by title only, and waiving further reading <br />thereof, adopting the 1975 Edition of the National Electrical Code as published' <br />by the National Fire Protection Association by reference, with certain changes, <br />fixing penalties for violation and amending the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton accordingly and setting a public hearing for January 13, 1975, at <br />8:00 P.M., at the Justice Court, Pleasanton, California, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilman Herlihy, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and <br /> Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Kinney <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Letter from 3oseph P~ Bort~ Chairman~ Board of Supervisors~ Re: Coun~y's service <br />and space requirements in the Livermore-Amador Valley Area <br /> Mro Edgar presented letter from the Alameda County Board of Supervisors dated <br />November 27, 1974, regarding proposed County Administration Building. <br /> <br /> Council requested this matter be scheduled for study session on January 13, <br />1975, to discuss alternatives. <br /> <br />Letter from Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District~ Re: Expiration of term <br />for 3ohn Vizzolini as Trustee of this District <br /> Mr. Edgar presented a letter dated December 3, 1974, from the Alameda County <br />Mosquito Abatement District regarding the expiration of term for John Vizzolini <br />as Trustee on the Board. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori requested this matter be referred to Executive Session. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITEE REPORTS <br /> Councilwoman LeClaire reported on the M.T.C. hearing this date stating the <br />Grant Review and Allocations Committee voted 4-1 in favor of widening 1-580 to <br />eight lanes. <br /> <br /> 6. 12/9/74 <br /> <br /> <br />
