Carson~ Re: BART Bus Stop at Crestline Road and Valley Avenue <br /> Mrs. Emi'l~ J. Car's~n, 2'260 Cres'tlin~ Road, presentea apetition to the City <br />Council with 64 signatures, which read as follows: "We, the undersigned, are <br />opposed to the BART Feeder Bus Line Stop at Valley Avenue and Crestline Road. A <br />bus stop in this residential area will create a safety hazard for the children <br />due to the increase of cars which will be parked along the streets· We consider <br />the Alpha Beta Shopping Center, one block to the west, to be a more logical loca- <br />tion". <br /> <br /> Council explained the bus stops were on a trial basis at this time and would <br />be monitored very carefully in order to detect any problems that may arise due <br />to the new BART Feeder Bus System in the City. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jesse F. Bartlett, 2292 Crestline Road, expressed his concern regarding <br />parked cars in the area of the bus stop. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori recessed the meeting at 9:45 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori reconvened the meeting at 9:55 P.M. <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no special reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no reports of Boards and Commissions presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Rep. ort~ Re: Amendment to Traffic Resolution <br /> Mr. Sooby presented the staff report dated November 19, 1974, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire, that <br />Resolution No. 74-234, amending Traffic Resolution No. 70-26, changing Section 11 - <br />Two Hour Parking Zones, to include the following paragraphs: <br /> <br />llg-1 Graham Street on the southerly side of Graham Street from Santa Rite <br /> Frontage Road to 300 feet easterly of Santa Rite Frontage Road. <br /> <br />llg-2 Graham Street on the northerly side of Graham Street from Santa Rita <br /> Frontage Road to 300 feet easterly of Santa Rita Frontage Road. <br /> <br />llJ-1 Jensen Street on the southerly side of Jensen Street from Santa Rite <br /> Frontage Road to 500 feet easterly of Santa Rite Frontage Road. <br /> <br />llj-2 Jensen Street on the northerly side of Jensen Street from Santa Rita <br /> Frontage Road to 500 feet easterly of Santa Rite Frontage Road. <br /> <br />lls-4 Santa Rite Frontage Road on the easterly side of Santa Rite Frontage <br /> Road from the Western Pacific Right-of-Way northerly to Wells Street. <br /> <br />lls-5 School Street on the southerly side of School Street from Santa Rite <br /> Frontage Road to 500 feet easterly of Santa Rite Frontage Road. <br /> <br />lls-6 School Street on the northerly side of School Street from Santa Rita <br /> Frontage Road to 500 feet easterly of Santa Rtta Frontage Road. <br /> <br /> <br />
