MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> October 7, 1974 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Floyd Mori called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and <br />Mayor Mori were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, and Mr. Campbell, Assistant <br />CityManager/Director of Public Works, were present. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: Appointments <br /> Mayor Mori recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 7:01 P.M., for the <br />purpose of interviewing candidates for various Boards and Commissions. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori reconvened the meeting at 8:00 P.M. <br /> <br />STUDY SESSION <br />Project Report~ Re:. Interceptor sewer Line to V.C.S.D. or Construction of New <br />Sewage Treatment Plant <br /> Mr. Robert Kennedy, of Kennedy Engineers, reported on recent changes in the <br />State guidelines and indicated the impact which these changes have made on the <br />Project Report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Kennedy described the two alternate projects for the City Council, and <br />reviewed the cost estimates. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell reviewed with the Council his report dated October 7, 1974, <br />regarding the advantages and disadvantages as he perceived them of each of the <br />Projects. <br /> <br /> Mr. Edgar then reviewed the preliminary financial report which had been <br />prepared by Carl Kadie of Stone and Youngberg, dated October 3, 1974. <br /> <br /> After several questions by the City Council, the subject matter was continued <br />to a joint meeting with Valley Community Services District on October 18, 1974, <br />12:00 noon, at the Veterans Building. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Mori adjourned the meeting to an Executive Session at 9:25 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori reconve~edthe meeting at 9:45 P.M. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 9:46 P.M., it was moved by Councilman <br />Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Philcox, that the meeting be adjourned to <br />meet again in Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on October 14, 1974. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />WI CITY CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
