MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> September 19, 1974 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Floyd Mori called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 4:00 P.M. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Councilmen Herlthy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and <br />Mayor Mori were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, <br />Mr. Bowling, Director of Housing and ConEaunity Development, Mr. Eaton, Director <br />of Field Services, and Mr. Walker, Assistant to the City Manager, were present. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO FEES AND CHARGES RESOLUTIgN~ RE: SEWER CONNECTION FEES <br /> Mr. Edgar reviewed the previous reports regarding this matter and stated <br />that in light of the City Attorney's comments at the Council meeting on Monday <br />night, additional detail in relation to a sewer connection fee increase was <br />needed. He reviewed a letter from Mayor Mori to the Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board dated March 28, 1574, a report prepared by Brown and Caldwell <br />dated March 15, 1974, and a report prepared by Carl Kadie of Stone and Young- <br />berg dated April 26, 1974. <br /> <br /> .Mr. Walker reviewed the assumptions used in preparation of the fee increase <br />report dated September 19, 1974. He reviewed the Charts relative to the revenue <br />and expenditures related to the sewage treatment system. <br /> <br /> Members of the audience were asked for their comments and/or questions <br />concerning this report. The following persons made comments: <br /> <br /> Bill Leonard, Executive Director, Associated Building Industry <br /> Bud Lake, representing Associated Building Industry <br /> Art Schumacher, Developer <br /> Joe Joiner <br /> Chuck Seymour, 492 San Gabriel Court, Pleasanton <br /> <br /> After discussion, Mayor Mori declared this item continued to the regular <br />meeting of the City Council on September 23, 1974, 8:00 P.M., Pleasanton Justice <br />Court, 30 West Angela Street. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION - Pendins Litigation <br /> Mayor Mori recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 6:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori reconvened the meeting at 6:10 P.M. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 6:12 P.M., it was moved by Councilwoman <br />LeCIaire,'and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that the meeting be adjourned to <br />meet agai~.'in Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on September 23, 1974. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeCiaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />WILLIAM H.
