<br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG
<br /> Mayor Floyd Moricalled the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at
<br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
<br />
<br /> ROLL CALL
<br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br /> Councilman Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and Mayor Mori were
<br /> present~ Councilman Herlihy was absentel Mro Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig,
<br /> City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Assistant City Manager/Director of Public Works, Mr.
<br /> Harris, Director of Planning, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, Mr.
<br /> Miller and Mr. Walker, Assistants to the City Manager, 'were present.

<br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS
<br /> Mr. Edgar requested the following agenda amendment:
<br />
<br /> 1. Consider item 9b - Review of Bids and Award of Contract for construction of
<br /> Evaporation Pond and Berms, with item 7c - Progress Report, Re: Sewage
<br /> Treatment.
<br />
<br /> CONSENT CALENDAR
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Philcox, that
<br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved, and the agenda
<br /> as amended:
<br />
<br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for August 12 and August 19, 1974o
<br />
<br />b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 734, rezoning a parcel of property approximately
<br /> 1.37 acres in size, located immediately north of the Junction of Santa Rita
<br /> Road and TassaJara Road, from C-F (Commercial Freeway) to the C-C (Community
<br /> Commercial) District as shown on Zoning Unit Map No. 142, and amending the
<br /> Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly.
<br />
<br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 735, amending Section 4-4.04(a), Art. 9 (Garbage),
<br /> Chapter 2 (Special Permits), Title IV (Health, Safety, Moral, and General
<br /> Welfare), of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton pertaining to the
<br /> definition of garbage.
<br />
<br />d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 737, amending Article I (Solititors and Certain
<br /> Businesses), Chapter 2 (Special Permits), Title IV (Health, Safety, Moral
<br /> and General Welfare), of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton re-
<br /> lating to definition of Peddler, Solicitor, and Transient Merchant.
<br />
<br />eo Grant of temporary easement from Security Pacific National Bank and L.
<br /> Robert Van Geffen, Co-Trustees of the Estate of Morris Stulsaft to City
<br /> of Pleasanton (Vintage Hills Area).
<br />
<br />f.Acceptance of Grant of Easement Deed from Angelo Cavestri to City for
<br /> Public Service Easement.
<br />
<br />g.Acceptance of Grant of Easement Deed from Richard and Jeanette Irby for
<br /> Public Service Easement.
<br />
<br />The roll call vote was as follows:
