433 MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL June 23, 1975 REVIEW OF VOLUME 5 - PROJECT REPORT OF THE INTERCEPTOR SEWER PROJECT Mayor Edward Kinney called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M., for a presenta- tion regarding Volume 5 of the Interceptor Sewer Project. Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClalre, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney were present° Mr. Campbell reviewed Volume 5 of the Project Report. In this regard, he dis- cussed the background of the problems related to the provision of sewage treatment for the Pleasanton area as well as the current studies that are underway. Several maps and charts were presented indicating current and projected populations and sewage treatment flows for the years 1987 and 1997. After some discussion it was the consensus of the City Council that the report should be presented to LAVWMA at their meeting of July 8, 1975. CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Edward Kinney called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:30 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: CounCilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Assistant City Manager/Director of Public Works, Mr. Bowling, Director of Housing and Com- munity Development, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, and Mr. Caporusso, Recreation Superintendent, were present. AGENDAAMENDMENTS Mr. Edgar requested the following amendments be made to the agenda: 1. Add the following items to the Consent Calendar: 4f - Approval of Reimbursement Agreement with Ralph P. Juhl, etal. 4g - Proclaim June 29-July 5, 1975, as National Safe Boating Week in Pleasanton. 4h - Acceptance of Easement from Postal Service for Santa Rita Road Project. 4i - Approval of Plans and Specifications for Santa Rita Road, Black Avenue to Amador High School, West Side Only. 2. Add the following item to Reports of the City Attorney: 10b - Report Re: Annexation No. 69, Frank Auf der Maul. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember Philcox, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved as amended, and the agenda as amended: a. Approval of City Council'Minutes for June 9, 16, and 17, 1975. b. Acceptance of Report of the Planning Commission, Re: Action Taken on Items at their meeting of June 11, 1975.
