433 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> June 23, 1975 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF VOLUME 5 - PROJECT REPORT OF THE INTERCEPTOR SEWER PROJECT <br /> Mayor Edward Kinney called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M., for a presenta- <br /> tion regarding Volume 5 of the Interceptor Sewer Project. Councilmembers Herlihy, <br /> LeClalre, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney were present° <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell reviewed Volume 5 of the Project Report. In this regard, he dis- <br /> cussed the background of the problems related to the provision of sewage treatment <br /> for the Pleasanton area as well as the current studies that are underway. Several <br /> maps and charts were presented indicating current and projected populations and <br /> sewage treatment flows for the years 1987 and 1997. <br /> <br /> After some discussion it was the consensus of the City Council that the report <br /> should be presented to LAVWMA at their meeting of July 8, 1975. <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Edward Kinney called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:30 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />CounCilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney were present. <br />Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Assistant <br />City Manager/Director of Public Works, Mr. Bowling, Director of Housing and Com- <br />munity Development, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, and Mr. Caporusso, <br />Recreation Superintendent, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Edgar requested the following amendments be made to the agenda: <br /> <br /> 1. Add the following items to the Consent Calendar: <br /> <br /> 4f - Approval of Reimbursement Agreement with Ralph P. Juhl, etal. <br /> <br /> 4g - Proclaim June 29-July 5, 1975, as National Safe Boating Week in <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> 4h - Acceptance of Easement from Postal Service for Santa Rita Road Project. <br /> <br /> 4i - Approval of Plans and Specifications for Santa Rita Road, Black Avenue to Amador High School, West Side Only. <br /> <br /> 2. Add the following item to Reports of the City Attorney: <br /> <br /> 10b - Report Re: Annexation No. 69, Frank Auf der Maul. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember Philcox, <br />that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved as amended, <br />and the agenda as amended: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council'Minutes for June 9, 16, and 17, 1975. <br /> <br />b. Acceptance of Report of the Planning Commission, Re: Action Taken on Items <br /> at their meeting of June 11, 1975. <br /> <br /> <br />
