It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire, that Ordinance No. 750, adopting the 1975 Edition of the National Electrical Code as published by the National Fire Protection Association by reference, with certain changes, fixing penalties for violation and amending the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton accordingly, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and Mayor Mori NOES: None ABSENT: None Application of the Planning Commission from the Pleasanton Garbage Service for an amendment of the Pleasanton General Plan from Low Density Residential and Medium Density Residential to Agriculture and Grazing~ for that apprp.ximately 60 acres of land located on the south side of Vineyard Avenue~ approx.imately. 2~100 feet east of the eastern City Limit Line Mr. Harris presented the staff report dated January 8, 1975, regarding this matter, stating that the Ralph Martin property had been excluded from the appli- cation leaving approximately 23 acres at 2512 Vineyard Avenue to be considered instead of the approximately 60 acres as first recommended. Mayor Mori declared the public hearing open. Mr. Burke Critchfield, 87 West Neal, Pleasanton, representing Ralph Martin, stated his client desired to be excluded from this application and was opposed to the rezoningo Mr. Bill Hirst, Attorney, 147 Bernal Avenue, representing Pleasanton Garbage Service, indicated for the record that his client had reviewed the report sub- mitted by staff and concurred with the. report and recommendations, and requested approval of the application. 2. 1/13/75
