T0 ~HE. ~c <br /> Mayor Edward Kinney called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council <br /> to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney were present. <br /> Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Assistant City <br /> Manager/Director of Public Works, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, and <br /> Mr. Walker, Assistant to the City Manager, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Edgar requested that the agenda be amended as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Continue item 9a - Approval of application for two Septic Tanks on property <br /> located at the southeast corner of Foothill Road and Bernal Avenue, to the <br /> meeting of January 12, 1976~ <br /> <br /> 2. Add an item. as 10b - Approval of Extension of Foothill Road Agreement with <br /> Alameda Countyo <br /> <br /> 3. Councilmember MeLafn~\reques,ted that the following corrections be made to <br /> the Minutes of'November 24, 1975: <br /> <br /> Page 1 - Roll Call - Councilmember McLain was present. <br /> Agenda Amendments - 2nd paragraph, Councilmember McLain requested <br /> that a Commendation Certificate be sent to John Ames, former <br /> Chairman of the Traffic Advisory Committee. <br /> Page 2 - Item h - should read "Approval of Commendation Certificate for John <br /> Ames, former Chairman of Traffic Advisory Committee". <br /> Public Hearings - Consideration of application for second year fund- <br /> ing under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; projects <br /> proposed for~second year funding are the replacement of the Harris <br /> Acres Water Lines located along Whiting Street, Gale Avenue, and <br /> portions of Abbie, East Angela and Third Streets, and the extension <br /> of Peters Avenue from Division Street to Rose Avenue.; this being a <br /> continuation of the projects begun under the first year funding of <br /> the Act, in the 4th paragraph, should be corrected to read "individual <br /> income", instead of "income". <br /> Page 5 - 3rd paragraph - should be deleted and changed to "Councilmember McLain <br /> asked that the Park and Recreation Commission consider recreation pro- <br /> posals even though the income may not completely offset costs". <br /> Page 8 - Under Oral Report~ Re:' Changes in the 1975 Electton's Code~ - should <br /> be changed to "...that at least 258 sample ballots were not received". <br /> <br /> 4. Councilmember LeClaire zequested that the Minutes of December 8, 1975, be <br /> amended on page 4, u~der Application of the Planning Commission to amend <br /> Section 2-7.08(a), Article 8, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of <br />'~' the City of Pleasanton to allow swimming pool sales and service as a condi- <br /> tional use in the C-F (Commercial Freeway) District, to show that when any <br /> business involving the sale and/or display of swimming pools and equipment <br /> be closed, that the swimming pools be filled prior to property being vacated. <br /> <br /> 5. Councilmember Philcox requested that the Minutes of December 8, 1975, be <br /> corrected on page 5, under Matters Initiated by Council Members, from <br /> "bicycle gates at schools" to "pedestrian barriers on walkways". <br /> <br /> <br />
