<br /> CALL TO ORDER
<br /> Mayor Edward Kinney called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order at
<br /> 5:00 P.M., at the Pleasanton Justice Court then adjourned the meeting to thePleasan-
<br /> ton City Hall Conference Room due to Court Room in Session.

<br />ROLL CALL
<br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows%
<br />Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney were present.
<br />Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidtg, City Attorney, and Mr. Miller, Assistant to
<br />the City Manager, were present. Mr. Keith Fleming, City's negotiator, was also
<br />present.

<br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER
<br />Adoption of Appropriate Salary Resolutions
<br /> Mr. Edgar presented his report dated July 7, 1975, regarding this matter, and
<br />stating that the purpose of the meeting was to review certain salary resolutions
<br />that were to be presented o

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy,
<br />that Resolution No. 75-143, accepting the Memorandum of Understanding between the
<br />City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton City Employees Association and fixing salaries
<br />and conditions of employment for enumerated classes of employees, and amending the
<br />1975-76 Budget accordingly, be adopted.

<br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney
<br />NOES: None
<br />ABSENT: None

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember McLain,
<br />that Resolution No. 75-144, adopting a compensation plan for Top Management,
<br />Middle Management, and Confidential personnel for the City of Pleasanton and
<br />amending the 1975-76 Budget accordingly, be adopted.

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember McLatn, and seconded by Councilmember Philcox,
<br />that Resolution No. 75-145, establishing salary and fringe benefits for the City
<br />Attorney for Fiscal Year 1975-76, and amending the City of Pleasanton Budget
<br />accordingly, be adopted.

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Philcox, and seconded by Councilmember McLain,
<br />that Resolution No. 75-146, establishing salary and fringe benefits for the City
<br />Manage~ for Fiscal Year 1975-76, and amending the City of Pleasanton Budget
<br />accordingly, be adopted.

<br /> Mr~ Edgar, speaking on behalf of all employees, thanked the City Council
<br />for their generosity in taking action to increase salaries and fringe benefits,
<br />and indicated that it has been and will always continue to be a pleasure to
<br />work for the City Council.
