Bill Knopff, representing Carollo Engineers.

Mr. Campbell then reviewed his memorandum dated June 2, 1976, entitled
"Preliminary", and involving several alternatives related to the resolution of
the Pleasanton sewage problem.

After considerable discussion on each of the alternatives, it was the con-
sensus of the Council that they should support the ~AVWMA Project which is a
pipeline to transport effluent out of the Valley. It was understood that this
Project would be the first stage of phasing out the Sunol Sewage Treatment Plant
and that since succeeding stages depend upon the pipeline, it was necessary to
determine whether this Project would be implemented before proceeding to other
stages.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business at 9:20 P.M., Mayor Philcox adjourned the
meeting to meet again in Adjourned Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on June 3, 1976,
at the Pleasanton Council Chambers, 30 West Angels Street.

Respectfully Submitted,

WILLIAM H, EDGAR, CITY CLERK
