457 <br /> <br /> At this point it was the consensus of the City Council that the Capital <br />Improvement Program could be approved in final form pending recommendation <br />from the Park and Recreation Commission regarding park and recreation Capital <br />Improvement matters. <br /> <br /> At this time Mr. Walker reviewed his memorandum dated May 27, 1976, regard- <br />ing the need for water and sewer rate increases. <br /> <br /> After some discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded <br />by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 76-131, authorizing the Mayor to <br />execute an Agreement with Stone and Youngberg, in the amount of $7,500.00, to <br />conduct a comprehensive water and sewer rate study, the cost of the study to <br />come from Water and Sewer Improvements funds, and that interim deficits for <br />both the Water and Sewer Operating fund would be financed from the respective <br />Water and Sewer Improvement funds, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 10:35 P.M., Mayor Philcox adjourned the <br />meeting to meet again in Adjourned Regular Session at 7:30 P.M., on June 2, 1976, <br />at the Pleasanton Council Chambers, 30 West Angela Street. <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />WILLIAM H.
