MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 27, 1976 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Robert Philcox called the Adjourned Regular Meetin~ of the City Council <br />to order at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Councilmenbets Brandes. Herlihy, Letlairs, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were <br />present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Schetdig, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, <br />Assistant City Manager/Director of Public Works, Mr. goody, Director of Engineer- <br />ing Services, Mr. Miller, and Mr. ~alker, Assistants to the City Manager, were <br />present. <br /> <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY CO~ISSIONER INTOVIEWS <br /> City' Council interview~d 'the following people regarding appointment to the <br />Housing Authority Board: <br /> <br /> Zdsond fives <br /> Deshue Thomas Bordusis <br /> John B. Fraga <br /> Terry CrosshanS <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mercer, that lssolution No. 76-101, appointing Edmond Alves, <br />1114 Santa B/ta ROad, Pleasanton, to serve as a member of the Housing Authority <br />Board, for a term of four years, said term to expire January 25, 1980, filling <br />the vacant seat of Mrs. Elizabeth Hall, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows= <br />AYES~" ' ~un~iimembe~s Brandes, Herlihy, Letlairs, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />BUDGET B~ORK SESSION <br />' Mr. Edgar reviewed the Budget Message and answered questions pertaining to <br />it. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker then reviewed the estimated revenues set forth in the Budget as <br />well as the detailed charts and summaries of expenditures. <br /> <br /> Staff and the Council the proceeded co review legislative, administrative, <br />and miscellaneous programs of the Budget document. Although no final decisions <br />were made the City Council decided to elfinlasts $450.00 for the Street decora- <br />tions at rJae Fair, and $500.00 for the Livex~nore-Pleasanton Annual Barbeque.
