Mayor Philcox presented a letter from Mayor James E. Balentine, Newark, <br /> dated April 19, 1976, urging support of the Dumbarton Bridge project. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br /> that Resolution No. 76-100, endorsihg-Council support of the Dumbarton Bridge <br /> Project and instructing staff to transmit this position to the appropriate <br /> legislators, be adopted° <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Edgar presented the Calendar for the Councilts information. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Philcox recessed the meeting to a litigation Executive Session at <br />11:30 P.M., to discuss the possible establishment of an S (Study) District in <br />certain areas of the cormnunity and what legal ramifications would this, or other <br />potential zoning changes, creates After some discussion the matter was put over <br />to a litigation session to be held after the Council's meeting of May 3, 1976, <br />to allow for additional staff research. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox reconvened the meeting at 12:12 A.M. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 12:15 A.M., it was moved by Councilmember <br />Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that the meeting be adjourned to <br />meet again in Adjourned Regular Session at 6:30 P.M., on April 27, 1976. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />WILLIAM H.
