<br /> CALL TO ORDER
<br /> Mayor Robert Philcox called the Adjourned Regular,M~eting of the City Council to
<br /> order at 7:30 P.M.
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL
<br /> Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LoCialto, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were present.
<br />Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Assistant City
<br />Manager/Director of Public Works, Mr. Eaton, Director of Field Services, Mr. Sooby,
<br />Director of Engineering Services, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning, Mr. Dobbins,
<br />Chief Building Inspector, Mr. McCloud, Director of Public Safety,~Mr. Cherry, Fire
<br />Division Administration, Mr. Caporusso, Recreation Superintendent, Mr. Walker and
<br />Mr. Miller, Assistants to the City Manager, were present.

<br />BUDGET REVIEW
<br /> Mayor Philcox asked the City Manager to proceed with the Budget Review.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Edgar indicated that there were three purposes to the meeting:
<br />
<br /> 1. To review the Budget Message
<br /> 2. To establish a schedule for work sessions on the Budget
<br /> 3. To explain the mechanics of how the Budget was put together
<br />
<br /> Mr. Edgar then went on to review the Budget Message which included comments re-
<br />lated to the economic outlook for 1976, last yearns accomplishments, the Mission
<br />Statement for 1976-77, a financial overview for the City, and a Budget Summary re-
<br />vealing a number of charts, graphs, and tables illustrating the presentation.

<br /> Subsequent to this presentation and after some questions, the City Council
<br />established the following schedule for Budget work sessions:
<br />
<br /> April 27, 1976 - 6:30 P.M.
<br /> April 29, 1976 - 6:30 P.M.
<br /> May 3, 1976 - 6:30 P.M.
<br /> May 4, 1976 - 6:30 P.M.
<br /> May 11, 1976 - 8:00 P.M., Public Hearing
<br />
<br /> Mr. Walker then proceeded to explain how the Budget was compiled in order that
<br />the City Council would be able to expedite their individual study?
<br />
<br />EXECUTIVE SESSION
<br /> Mayor Philcox recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 8:45 P.M., to
<br />discuss pending litigation.
<br />
<br /> Mayor Philcox reconvened the meeting at 9:30 P.M.
<br />
<br />ADJOURNMENT
<br /> There being no further business at 9:45 P.M., Mayor Philcox adjourned the
<br />meeting to meet again in Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on April 26, 1976.
