MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> March 9, 1976 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Edward Kinney called the Adjourned Special Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 5:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney were present. <br />Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, and Mr. Campbell, Assistant <br />City Manager/Director of Public Works, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Edgar requested that the Adoption of Ordinances 778 and 779, be added to <br />the agenda as items 4a(1) and 4a(2). <br /> <br /> Councilmember Philcox requested that item 6 - Comments from Retiring Council- <br />members, be heard before item 5. <br /> <br /> Councilmember LeClaire requested that an item be added to the agenda regarding <br />a letter from Sheila Prindiville to Wells Fargo Bank related to sewage treatment. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, <br />that the agenda be approved as amended. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br />Adoptio~ of .Ordinanc.e.~o. Z78.~. to rez0ne app.roximat.e. ly 32 acres located south of <br />An~ela Streets west of Mirador Drives north of Pico Avenues and east of Whiting <br />Street_,_.i~rom t~e 'S"(.Study')"and ~ji~6500 .(.Single Family Re~ential) Dist½'~cts to' <br />the A (Agricultural) D~str.ict, apd amepdin~ the Zoning Map of the City of Pleasan- <br />ton accordingly <br /> Mr. Edgar briefly reviewed this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember Philcox, <br />that Ordinance No. 778, rezoning approximately 32 acres located south of Angela <br />Street, west of Mirador Drive, north of Pico Avenue, and east of Wh. iting Street, <br />from the S (Study) and R-1-6500 (Single Family Residential) Districts to the A <br />(Agricultural) District, and amending the Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton <br />accordingly, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />~ord~nance No. 779, Increasing the Size of the HousinM Authority <br />Board from Five Members to Seven Members (Introduced 2-23-761 bY a 4-1 vote) <br /> Mr. Edgar briefly reviewed this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Philcox, and seconded by Councilmember McLain, <br />that Ordinance No. 779, increasing the size of the Housing Authority Board from <br />five (5) to seven (7) members, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: Councilmember LeClaire <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> <br />
