REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br /> Repo.rt~ Re: Approval of Lease Agreement~ Camp Parks Gymnasiumm LARPD and City <br /> of Pleasanton <br /> Mr. Caporusso presented his report dated October 29, 1976, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Le- <br />Claire, that Resolution No. 76-248, approving the Camp Parks Gymnasium Lease <br />Agreement, Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (L.A.R.P.D.) and the <br />City of Pleasanton, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Report~ Re: Possible. Projects for Public Works Employment Act of 1976 <br />Mr. Edgar presented the report of the Director of Engineering Services <br />dated November 3, 1976, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by <br />CoUncilmember Herlihy, that' Resolution No. 76-249, approving application for <br />funding under the Public Works Employment Act of 1976, for Storm Drain Project- <br />Old Pleasanton Area, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmember LeClaire <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Councilmember LeClaire stated she felt Stoneridge Overcrossing was the <br />most ~important project that should be considered at this time. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Philcox, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that <br />Resolution No. 76-250, designating Foothill Reservoir as the second project <br />to be considered under the Public Works Employment Act of 1976, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes left the meeting at 11:45 P.M., due to illfiess. <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> Mr. Edgar presented the report of the Assistant City Manager dated October <br />27, 1976, regarding Fire Department Vehicles. <br /> <br /> .Mr. Edgar presented his report dated November 3, 1976, regarding rate <br />schedule for Pleasanton Garbage Service. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> There were no reports of the City Attorney presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilmembers presented various Committee Reports for the information <br />of the Council. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Mercer stated Cable TV service had been interrupted fre- <br />quently since the rate increase had been granted in September and he re- <br />quested the City Attorney to investigate the possibility of customers <br />receiving refund for time of interrupted service. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox asked the City Attorney to request an informal opinion <br />from the Fair Political Practices Commission on the matter of Conflict of <br />Interest regarding his participation on items on the agenda involving <br />customers of his business. <br /> <br /> 5. 11/8/76 <br /> <br /> <br />
