MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL June 27, 1977 EXECUTIVE SESSION RE: LABOR RELATIONS Mayor Philcox and members of the City Council met at 7:30 P.M., with Mr. Campbell, Acting City Manager; Mr..Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Miller, Assistant to the City Manager; and Mr. Fleming, Industrial Employers and Distributors Association, to discuss labor negotiations. CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Robert Philcox called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were present. Councilmember Herlihy was absent. Mr. Campbell, Acting City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Service, and Mr. Walker, Assistant to the City Manager, were present. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Campbell requested that the following amendments be made to the agenda: ~ve item 4b - Adoption of Ordinance No. 822, adding Chapter 6 to Title IV (Health, Safety, Morals and General Welfare) to the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton relating to Drinking in Public, to Reports of the City Attorney as item llb. Add item llc - Urgency Ordinance relating to Drinking in Public. Add item 16a - Ordinances to Protect the Proposed Residential Allocation Program. Add item 4i - Lot Line Adjustment for Danny Pons. Continue item 9a - Report of the Park and Recreation Commission, Re: Pleasanton Aquatic Center Winter Water Usage, for additional information. Add item 4j - Permission to Hang Banner on Main Street Sign by Pleasanton Y-Women's Club. CONSENT CALEndAR It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Le- Claire, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar together with amendments thereto, be approved: a. Approval of City Council Minutes for June 13, 1977.
