275 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> May 2, 1977 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Robert Philcox called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council <br /> to order at 7:00 P.M., at the Council Chambers. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> The roll call is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, <br />LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were present Mr. Campbell, Acting City <br /> . <br />~nager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Walker, Assistant to the City Manager, <br />Mr. Harris, Director of Planning, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, <br />and Mr. Dobbins, Chief Building Inspector, were present. <br /> <br />MATTERS FOR THE INFORMATION OF THE COUNCIL <br /> Mr. Campbell reported to Council regarding a public hearing on Revenue <br />Sharing which was conducted at 6:00 P.M., this date. One individual spoke and <br />requested use of Revenue Sharing money to fund community based organizations. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell reported on communications received from Alameda County <br />regarding Transportation Needs Study and other communications related to <br />the Budget. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell reported on discussions with Alameda County regarding fire ser- <br />vice contract. He indicated that the City's initial proposal would exceed <br />SB-90 authorization. Council directed staff to provide information to the <br />County justifying increase in contract limits to maximum SB-90 rate. <br /> <br />BUDGET WORK SESSION <br /> Council and staff discussed the following Departmental Budgets: <br /> <br /> a. City Council <br /> b. CityManager <br /> c. City Attorney <br /> d. Administrative Services <br /> e. Planning <br /> f. Engineering <br /> g. Building Inspection <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, Mayor Philcox adjourned the Adjourned <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council at 9:45 P.M., to meet again in Adjourned <br />Regular Session at 7:30 P.M., on ~hy 4, 1977, at the Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />' AN B.
