MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL February 14, 1977 INTERVIEWS FOR HOUSING AUTHORITY BOARD COMMISSIONERS The City Council met at 7:00 P.M., to interview the following persons for the filling of two vacancies that exist on the Housing Authority Board: George E. Bill Pemberton Roger McLain CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Robert Philcox called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P,M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance. to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Assistant City Manager/Director of Public Works, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, and Mr. Walker, Assistant to the City Manager, were present. AGENDA ~EN~MENTS Mr. Edgar requested the following amendments be made to the agenda: 1. Continue item 6a-Application of the Planning Commission to fezone approximately 120 acres of land located west of Foothill Road near its intersection with Bernal Avenue from the R-i-40,000 to the HPD (Hillside Planned Development) District (continued Open from 12-13-76 and 1-3-77), to March 14, 1977, at the request of the applicant. 2. Continue item 6d-Appeal of a decision of the Design Review Board to deny a signing program proposed by Blaze Custom Signs for the Davey Ace Hardware Store to be located at 1807 Santa Rite Road to February 28, 1977, at the request of the applicant. 3. Continue item 10a-Report, Re; Cheese Factory Permit, to February 28, 1977, at the request of staff and applicant. 4. Withdraw item lOd-Review of Property filed under MS-76-14 (Morris Stulsaft Testamentary Trust) for the purpose of exempting it from the Limited Growth Policy, from the agenda. 5. Consider item 8a-Reconsideration of letter to Harvest Park Student Body, earlier on the agenda, as item 5a.
