CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-138 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTAB- <br /> LISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY <br /> AMENDING SECTION 3 ESTABLISHING A TWO-WAY STOP ON <br /> FAIRFIELD ROAD AND FAIRFIELD COURT AT THE INTERSECTION <br /> WITH NORTHWAY ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution <br /> No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br /> for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended <br /> Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 5, 1988, the City Council <br /> received and discussed a report (SR 88:142) from the <br /> Director of Public Works and Utilities related to the <br /> installation of a two-way stop on Fairfield Road and <br /> Fairfield Court at the intersection with Northway Road; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution <br /> No. 76-79 to add subsections 3f-4 and 3f-5 to Section 3; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br /> Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended <br /> by adding subsections 3f-4 and 3f-5 to Section 3 as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> 3f-4 Fairfield Drive, at Northway Road; stopping <br /> northbound traffic on Fairfield Drive. <br /> <br /> 3f-5 Fairfield Court, at Northway Road; stopping <br /> southbound traffic on Fairfield Court. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
