MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> January 15, 1977 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Robert Philcox called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />to order at 9:00 A.M. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> The roll call is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, <br />LeC!aire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were present. Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, <br />and Mr. Harris, Director of Planning, were also present. <br /> <br />INTERVIEW FOR CITIZENS COMMITTEE ON GROWTH MANAGF2~ENT PLAN <br /> Council interviewed Brian Hoyt for possible appointment to the Citizens <br />Committee on the Growth Management Plan. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS TO THE CITIZENS COMMITTEE FOR THE GROWTH MANAGEMENT PLAN ~D <br />APPROVAL OF CH_4_RGES FOR CO~MITTEE <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 77-16, appointing the following <br />persons to the Citizens Committee for the Growth Management Plan: Jim Hertl, <br />Ann Rathjen, Jim Trimingham, and Brian Hoyt, City Council Liaison members <br />Joyce LeClaire and Frank Brandes, Jr., Park and Recreation Commission Liaison <br />Howard Garrigan, Planning Commission Liaison Walt Wood, Human Resources <br />Liaison Sharon Kosch, and representatives to be appointed from the Home <br />Building Industry and the Housing Authority; appointing Councilmember Le- <br />Claire as Chairperson of the Committee; and approving the duties of the <br />ad-hoc committee for the Development of the Growth ~nagement Program as <br />outlined by the Director of Planning in his report dated January 13, 1977, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer,.and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Council indicated they wanted to receive copies of Minutes of all Committee <br />meetings. <br /> <br />ADJOU~}~ENT <br /> There being no further business at 9:30 A.M., Mayor Philcox adjourned the <br />meeting of the City Council, to meet again in Adjourned Regular Session at <br />5:30 P.M., on January 20, 1977, at the Pleasanton Council Chambers, 30 West <br />Angela Street. <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />  <br />~, ~ ~,~- <br />wiLLIAM H.
