Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> No one in 'the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by Councilmember <br />Brandes, that Resolution No. 77-12, approving a revised resolution of the <br />City Council of the City of Pleasanton adopting a Conflict of Interest Code <br />applicable to the Members of the City Council pursuant to the Political Re- <br />form Act of 1974, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />Adqption of Ordinance No. 806~ rezoning those properties located north of <br />Vineyard Avenue, south of the Arroyo del Valle from First Street east to the <br />C~t7 Limit Line (e~cept for the First Baptist Church property on First Street) <br />from the RM-1500 District and RM-2500 District to the RM-4000 D. is. trict~' apd. . <br />two p~rc.e~s located on the south side of Vipeyard Avenue between Adams Way <br />and Mavis Drive from the RM-2500 District to the R-1-6500 District~ and amend-I <br />in~ the Zoning ~p of. the Ci. ty of Pleasanton accordingly (Introducedon <br />Jan. uary 3, 1977 bXa 3-2 vote) <br /> Mr. Edgar stated this Ordinance was introduced on January 3, 1977, and that <br />it was now in order to adopt the Ordinance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Le- <br />Claire, that Ordinance No. 806, rezoning approximately 12.8 acres of land <br />located north of Vineyard Avenue and east of First Street from RM-1500 and <br />RM-2500Districts to RM-4000 District and rezoning approximately 5.1 acres <br />of land south of Vineyard Avenue between Adams Way and Mavis Drive from the <br />RM-2500 District to the R-1-6500 District, with the exception of the 48 unit <br />parcel owned by Frank-AUf der Maur and previously exempted by City Council, <br />and amending the Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly, Zoning <br />Unit Map #159, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote~was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, LeClaire, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmembers Herlihy and Mercer <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />geport of the Park and Recreation Commission~ Re:..Recommending a Name Chan~e <br />for the Department of Human Resources <br /> Mr. Edgar presented the report of the Park and Recreation Commission dated <br />December 27, 1976, regarding this matter. Mr. Edgar stated he did not agree <br />with the report as it would separate the functions of lIuman Services and Re- <br />creation which is contrary to the purpose and intent of the reorganization of <br />the Department. Mr. Edgar added that the brochures were already printed under <br />the name of Department of Human Resources and that a name change now would be <br />confusing and wrong in philosophy. <br /> <br /> 5. 1/10/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
