THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> November 30, 1977 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Robert Philcox called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council <br /> to order at 8:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were present. <br /> ~fr. Brown, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Harris, Director of <br /> Planning and Community Development, and Mr. Swift, Planning Analyst, were present <br /> · <br /> <br /> REVI~ OF RESIDENTIAL ALLOCATION PLAN <br /> Mayor Philcox stated the purpose of this meeting was for the City Council to <br /> study and review the Residential Allocation Program. <br /> <br /> Council requested Mr. Swift to review the six alternatives listed in the <br /> report of the Director of Planning and Community Development dated November 22, <br /> 1977. Mr. Swift and Council discussed each alternative. <br /> <br /> Mr. Scheidig reviewed the legal ramifications of each alternative. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes suggested a possible alternative between Alternatives <br /> 5 and 6. This alternative would allow the decision as to the number of units to <br /> be allocated to be made after review and ranking of projects per the Residential <br /> Allocation Program criteria. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox recessed the meeting at 9:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox reconvened the meeting at 9:45 P.M. <br /> <br /> Council continued its review of the various alternatives, and decided on when <br /> it would meet again after December 6, 1977. It was agreed to hold a meeting on <br /> December 27, 1977, at the Pleasanton Council Chambers, 30 West Angela Street. <br /> <br /> ADJOURnmENT <br /> There being no further business at 10:00 P.M., Mayor Philcox adjourned the <br /> meeting. <br /> <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> <br />
